Carolina Wildlife Needs Help!

We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday last week and a potential break from the typical hustle and bustle that seems to pick up even in the summer months! Let's get out and do some good this week!

In preparation for our Family Mission Day at the end of July, we are holding a food drive at church on Sunday, July 24th. We'll have boxes available in the lobby to collect donations. Items needed include pasta, pasta dinners, rice dinners, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, granola bars, and protein bars. All of these items will go to benefit Sharing Gods Love, the partner agency we are supporting for Family Mission Day. Please begin collecting these items and bring them on July 24th to the River Center!

Carolina Wildlife Care desperately needs help! They have an urgent need for mealworms, wax worms, crickets, or any other small worms or insects that they can feed the hundreds of aerial insectivores like chimney swifts, swallows, and purple martins that they currently have on-site at "the nest." If you are willing to donate, know where to shop locally, or simply feel called to help, you can email them at info@carolinawildlife.org or call them at 803-772-3994.

The Justice League is collecting information related to minority owned businesses that Emmaus can support and with whom we can begin to build relationships. If you are a minority business owner and/or you know of one in the Midlands, please email Dylan and let him know!
