On Do Good Day, our whole church will head out into the community to serve through projects that meet real needs. You pick the projects; we organize the logistics!

Calling all families with little ones—from newborns to preschoolers! Join us for our FWYC Pool Party on Sunday, July 19, from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Halloran house! We’ll enjoy an afternoon of swimming and hanging out together. Dinner will be provided.

Whether you’ve been part of FWYC for years or you’re checking it out for the first time, newcomers are always welcome! Bring a friend and come make a splash with us. Let us know if you plan to attend!

Dust off your neon, windbreakers, scrunchies, and denim jackets because there will be prizes for the best dressed! Save the date, invite a friend, and get ready for a night of laughter, skating, and great memories.

Summer Serve is a 3-day camp open to all rising 1st through 6th graders (current elementary-aged kids). We will be learning how to love our neighbor, serve our community, and care for creation through some Bible story time, hearing from some local organizations, and completing service projects for these organizations. The 6th Annual Irmo Juneteenth Celebration is happening on Friday, June 19th from 3:00 - 9:00pm at Moore Park. Hosted by the African American Historical Society of Irmo, this year's event highlights local history and the trailblazers who have helped shape Irmo and South Carolina. Expect a Pop-Up Irmo History Museum, a Kids' Zone, local food and retail vendors, music and dancing, and a live performance by Tia Durant, "The Princess of Soul."

You’re invited into a meaningful conversation at church around The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt on Friday, May 15 from 6-7:30pm. Together, we’ll watch a video from Haidt and spend time reflecting on how we can support our kids in a world that often feels overwhelming, from navigating technology to building resilience, connection, and emotional health. This evening is open to everyone: parents, grandparents, educators, students, and anyone who cares about the next generation. We all have a role to play. NEW DATE! We’re having our first Emmaus Kids Parent Workshop. We’ll provide a light lunch and childcare, have some time for you to get to know some other Emmaus parents, and learn how to incorporate the spiritual disciplines your child is learning on Sundays into your daily lives. This is ideal for parents of preschool and elementary students. Please register if you’d like to attend.

We hope you'll join us for the BigTable on Wednesday, February 25th at 6pm.  The evening will include dinner, volunteer recognitions, and updates on all aspects of the church with a reception following the program.  We consider the BigTable an annual "state of the church" event, and we think it's important for you all to be there. We hope you'll consider turning in any questions you have ahead of time to help us put together a meaningful evening. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a season of reflection, repentance, and hope. Join us for a meaningful service of prayer, Scripture, and the imposition of ashes as we pause, remember our dependence on God, and turn our hearts toward renewal.
