Ash Wednesday Service
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a season of reflection, repentance, and hope. Join us for a meaningful service of prayer, Scripture, and the imposition of ashes as we pause, remember our dependence on God, and turn our hearts toward renewal.
The Table
Get to know some other people who call Emmaus home while enjoying a nice meal at a host home. We will offer Tables on Friday, February 20th, Saturday, February 21st, and Sunday, February 22nd. Just pick the evening that works best for you! If you have trouble registering, you can email info@emmauschurchsc.com
The BigTable
We hope you'll join us for the BigTable on Wednesday, February 25th at 630pm. The evening will include dinner, volunteer recognitions, and updates on all aspects of the church with a reception following the program. We consider the BigTable an annual "state of the church" event, and we think it's important for you all to be there. We hope you'll consider turning in any questions you have ahead of time to help us put together a meaningful evening. Please let us know if you plan to attend. (Childcare will not be provided).

FWYC- Supper Club

Virtual Service
At Emmaus, we believe rest is important—for our staff, for our volunteers, and for you.
Because of that, we will not gather for in-person worship on Sunday, December 28th.
Instead, we invite you to join us for a virtual service that you can watch at home, at your own pace. We hope it creates space for rest, reflection, and time with those you love.
We’re grateful for you, and we can’t wait to gather together again in January.

In Their Shoes- Poverty Simulation
Step into an immersive, eye-opening experience designed to help you understand what daily life is like for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. In Their Shoes invites participants to navigate real-to-life challenges—stretching resources, making tough decisions, and managing the unexpected—all within a guided simulation.

Join us for a Christmas Party Potluck and everyone’s invited! We’ll enjoy food, fun, and a few friendly contests, including Best Ugly Sweater and Tastiest Holiday Cookie. Bring a dish to share and, if you’re feeling festive, enter one (or both!) of the contests. Let us know if you plan to attend!
Town of Irmo Christmas Parade
The Town of Irmo is hosting their Inaugural Christmas Parade and Emmaus is participating! You should join us in the fun!
Prepare for a morning filled with festive floats, marching bands, local organizations, and perhaps even a special appearance from Santa himself. This exciting new event promises to be a joyous occasion for families and friends of all ages.
The parade is rolling through the streets on Saturday, December 6th, starting promptly at 9:00am. It will kick off from Crossroads Intermediate School and wind its way down, concluding near the McDonald’s on St. Andrews Road.
We will be walking the parade as a group, handing out candy and inviting folks to our Christmas Eve services. If you would like to walk with us, please register so we have an accurate headcount. We will also share more specifics regarding meeting location and time once that is made available. If you have any questions, feel free to email Dylan.

Men's Get Together
Fellas, mark your calendars. We’re gathering at the church for a night of good food, meaningful conversation, and yes—Texas Hold ’Em. $10 buy-in, winner chooses which local non-profit the pot goes to, plus there’ll be a sweet prize on the line.
We’ll kick things off at 6:00pm (*change in time). Go ahead and register ahead of time so we’ve got enough food (and chips…poker and otherwise).
